NEW FMBC.P (The First Mission) Initiative
Let’s plant some new seed! This new seed is called H.E.R.O!
Hospitality
Evangelism
Reaching Out (Outreach).
This initiative is designed to drive The First Mission into meeting the people (the community) where they are. We have seen some deadly actions that have taken place over the last few weeks, months, years; and the church needs to be the church! NOT just a priest passing by someone in need (Luke 10: 31 Now by chance a certain priest came down that road. And when he saw him, he passed by on the other side).
Can the church be a hero in this day and time? Yes, it can be! GOD has given us the strength and the tools needed to be overcomers (1 John 5:4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.) Here is an initiative the FMBC.P will be exercising in, and that initiate is called “H.E.R.O.”

Hospitality – Is the friendly reception and treatment of guests or strangers. The church should have the quality or disposition of receiving and treating guests and strangers in a warm, friendly, generous way. Romans 12:10 Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another; 11 not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; 12 rejoicing in hope, patient[c] in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer; 13 distributing to the needs of the saints, given[d] to hospitality.
Evangelism – FMBC.P is in the act of proclaiming the Gospel—the "good news" of what God has done through Jesus Christ for the salvation of sinners—with the intent of persuading others to repent and believe in Him. 2 Timothy 4 2 Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; 4 and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. 5 But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.
Reaching Out (Outreach) FMBC.P will commit in the practice of extending our care and resources beyond its walls to serve the local community and share the Gospel message through practical service, compassion, and evangelism. It involves intentionally connecting with the community, meeting the physical and spiritual needs of others, and inviting the "unchurched" to experience God's love and join the faith community. Matthew 28 18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go [c]therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” [d]Amen.
So again, the church can still be the HERO!
